  • Chicago Mob Fight

Pauling’s past drags her and Tallon into the middle of a Chicago mob fight. Good story with some interesting twists to it. Great afternoon read to pick up and knock out in a couple of hours.

  • The Perfect Man For Payback

THE PERFECT MAN FOR PAYBACK ...Dan Ames Stone Morticelli, was a mob enforcer, now in prison and knew it was a balancing act, he kept to himself. Now seeing the twins, they were the force from the outside, the person or persons responsible for him being in prison. Pauling wanting to study something new. The Sicilian way of fighting with stilettos. Leaving the trainer cautions her to be careful. Giving her an old item as a gift. A man’s hate, when it breaks free is dangerous, he says. F BI agent now telling her Stone had escape and he was one of her last cases, that led to conviction. FBI assuming revenge, Stone would be the perfect man for payback. She calls Michael Tallon for help. The mob has sent a killer after the enforcer, and the enforcer is after her. We now have action upon action, and one hopes Pauling and Tallon have enough ammunition with them. The author has once again delivered a taunt, tense action paced story. One hopes they do go to Tallon’s ranch after this. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion
