Overall, this book , if nothing else was interesting. To hear a woman so manipulative and deceitful when there are others who are truly suffering at the hands of another is frustrating… to the point where it can be triggering, or annoying at times. The book is repetitive- I had to skip through some pages because I had read the same thing, about the same character at least three times prior. The book probably could’ve been at least 50 pages shorter without all the added repeat info. But, overall it was a tragic story and worth the read.

Rule seems to have done a lot of work & research on this book I wish that I could give it a better rating, but it didn’t seem objective to me. I had never heard of any of the people featured in this book, so I have no previous knowledge or opinion; Howe, to me, the book seemed weighted against Lisa.

Why would anyone, especially miss Rule write such a terrible story about this sick women, she ruined so many lives. Then this sick women gets a light sentence after murdering her husband which makes a terrible ending. A horrible disgusting story. The whole thing needs to be never again be brought up. I know it’s a true story, my point is some stories should never be written. JW
