Lenny Learns a Lesson
This children’s story is about a turtle named Lenny who meets a strange animal on his walk home from school. He had never seen such an animal before and was unsure what to think about this interesting creature. His mother explains to him that we are all different, and that we should celebrate our differences. She tells Lenny about all of the strange animals in the world, and that the differences between them, make each of them special. Lenny Learns a Lesson focuses on diversity, and our acceptance of each others’ differences. This bilingual book will build vocabulary, and grammar in English and Spanish, while teaching readers of all ages to look past one’s appearance, and focus on who they are inside.
