The Beasts of Tarzan

The Beasts of Tarzan

The Beasts of Tarzan is the third novel in the collection written by Edgar Rice Burroughs, creator of Tarzan. Tarzan is the famous hero of the jungle who famous rejected civilized society in preference for his adventures in the jungle and the ape community who raised him since he was a child. The Beasts of Tarzan is one coherent novel, and takes Tarzan far away from the jungle he calls home. Shortly after marrying Jane of the Jungle, his one true love, and having a son, the son is abducted by Russian enemies and Tarzan goes on a long adventure to solve the kidnapping of his son and return him to the jungle where he belongs. Spanning dangerous traps, ships traveling across the sea, cannibals, and abandonment on an island far away from home, The Beasts of Tarzan promises to be a good installment in the Tarzan series.
