Along the way, they learn to appreciate the uniqueness of the other and together they forge their happy ending. Darcy Burke weaves a marvelous story which draws back many of the much loved characters from her previous books. It’s like meeting a group of friends, learning their back stories, and finding out how they all came to be together. This book has intrigue, an apparent suicide, a double homicide, and revenge. I can’t wait to read about Ethan Locke in Scoundrel Ever After.

What a great book to read and re-read. Intrigue, humor, passion-this book had it all. I am now a Darcy Burke fan. The characters were a great mesh and the story flowed really well, what a unique story.
