There are stories of abuse, neglect, self-doubt as well as stories of triumph as they overcame the situations life had dealth them. 

The foster care system as these authors have experienced is in need of improvement. The goal of these authors is to bring awareness so that positive changes can be made to improve the lives of children in foster care.
