Sparkling humor fills this novel about two endearing characters--Sam and Delilah. Even the secondary characters who are met in Alexander's other novels are given their full personalities and lend a more interesting plot. The surprising twists in this story just add more enjoyment. But what will be most fun is the sparring dialogue between Sam andDelilah who give the story it's ultimate terrific spin on what is love.

Although the first third moved a little slowly in some aspects, and some of the plots devices a little worn, still, it is an entertaining read, and pretty fun. This series all seems to revolve around rediscovering love, but is perhaps a little more repetitive of plot than necessary. If it weren't for the lighthearted style, and excellent characters, I would,not recommend.
