Aquaponics

The I-Node of the Planetary Collegium presents the notebooks of thirteen artists and theorists, that illustrate the concept of Aquaponics as the symbiotic environment of transdisciplinary research. This symbiosis is itself a key element in the work of the Planetary Collegium since it refers to Technoetics, initiated by its president Prof. Roy Ascott, which is a 'convergent field that seeks to explore consciousness and connectivity through digital, telematic, chemical or spiritual means, embracing both interactive and phychoactive technologies, and the creative use of moist media'as Ascott describes.
The Planetary Collegium is an international research platform that promotes the integration of art, science, technology and consciousness research. It is the 2011 recipient of the World Universities Forum Award for Best Practice in Higher Education. It is based in Plymouth University, UK, with nodes in Kefalonia, Lucerne, Trento and Zurich.
The I-Node, is based in Kefalonia, Greece.
