50 years since end of Vietnam War: In conversation with Vietnam's 'Napalm Girl'

A photograph of nine-year-old Kim Phuc Phan Thi, taken during the Vietnam War, became infamous for its horrific depiction of the conflict.

Titled The Terror Of War, the photo by Huỳnh Công Út - known professionally as Nick Ut - won a Pulitzer Prize. In 2022, Niall Paterson was joined on the Sky News Daily by Kim Phuc, the girl in the photograph.

She shared her story about that photo, the war, and her work since then. To mark the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War on 30 April, we're revisiting that conversation.
