Boy who died after being pulled from canal is named

A 13-year-old boy who died after being pulled from a canal has been named by police as Delvin Musakwa.

Emergency services in Exeter were called at around 4.35pm on Monday after reports a child had failed to surface after jumping in. Police, fire and ambulance services attended the scene at Clapperbrook Lane East and gave the boy first aid.

Delvin, from Exeter, was taken to hospital in a serious condition and later died.
