Former teacher charged with sexual offences against teenage girls

A former teacher has been charged with sexual offences against three teenage girls.

Leo Norman faces four counts of abuse of position of trust: sexual activity with a girl, and one count of abuse of position of trust: causing or inciting a girl to engage in sexual activity, according to police. Hampshire Constabulary say they have been investigating child sexual abuse against ex-pupils at St Anne's Catholic School and Sixth Form College in Southampton.

Norman, 45, used to teach at the school. The alleged offences are said to have taken place between 2014 and 2019.

Norman, of Southampton, is set to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court on 7 July.
