I WAS enjoying the story when it got up to the commander and lieutenant talking about what to do with their odd team … and that was it! I checked, there should be 400+ pages and mine only had 177. I looked for a “reloading” button or something, but found none. So here I am not able to finish what was a promising story.

I started with the St. Mays Chronicles and am now reading the Time Police series. These are some of the best written and imaginative books I have read in a long time. So enjoyable.

Once again Ms Taylor knocked another one out of the ballpark. Too bad the gremlins digitizing her story fouled out. Thus four stars.

Good book but the digital version has 10+ blank pages between chapters. A very frustrating thing to deal with when you want to be immersed in the book.
