Spinward Fringe Broadcasts 1 and 2: Resurrection and Awakening

  • Spellbinding Storytelling

In some societies, good storytellers are honored above others. If our society was like that, Randolph Lalonde would definitely be honored. His stories are captivating and well crafted.

Great book. I like books that tell a story for book to book.

  • Great work in progress

The story is really good. The characters have depth. The science of future travel reads like the author visited the future and returned with a comfortable use of the jargon. What still needs work: PROOFREADING! Aaaaaack! Get an editor so your readers who know how to punctuate, spell, and use words correctly aren't having convulsions trying to resist getting out a red pen! Also, a few plot elements are introduced a bit late, and while interesting, could've been hinted at a lot earlier so they don't seem like after thoughts. I want to keep reading the series to find out what happens, but the ongoing need for editing (mistakes on most every page), is distracting and painful so that the pleasure is minimized.

  • A Classic Space Opera

One of the best I have read in recent years - well developed heroes and villains and a good mix of tech and action. A real page turner!
