I’ve been reading “this book” for nearly 20 years. It’s God’s word encapsulated in 365 moments of intimacy. It has shaped my life as I have sat it God’s presence as the words wash over my soul and transform my mind. Each daily reading yields an opportunity to say yes to God’s purposes for my life and for me to relinquish my will for His. The NLT edition is the most accessible for connecting my understanding. I often refer back to the NASB or NKJV to find the phrasing linked to Strong’s Concordance where I can find original wording for deeper study. This book reads you, it is the Word of Life. Own it and read it.

When you go into the app there is scriptural locations listed at the beginning of the day page. However you have to get a pencil and pen because they don’t put chapter and verse on each page as you’re reading on your phone or iPad. You have to try to figure it out with a pencil and pen to know what chapter you’re in. Seems to me it would be way easier just to put the chapter heading at the top of the page.
