John Stuart, Joseph Stuart, James Stuart, And William H. Scott, Plaintiffs in Error v. Hugh Maxwell

THIS case was brought up by writ of error, from the Circuit Court of the United States for the Southern District of New York. The plaintiffs in error, who were plaintiffs below, sued the collector to recover moneys for duties, paid under protest, alleged to have been overcharged at the port of New York, in July, 1849. Verdict and judgment for defendant.
