The Accidental Siren

The Accidental Siren

Joshua Barnes-Fleetwood is the prince of Willow Fork, Texas, but not all is right with his world. He’s the heir to a multimillion-dollar company, has a family he adores, and his best friend at his side. He can’t figure out what is missing until Nicole takes a job at Christa’s Café. The pretty waitress is a mystery he needs to solve. He’s never been so attracted to a woman, and after one night in her company, he’s sure she can handle his needs. Unfortunately, he’s also sure she’s lying to him.

Jared “Grim” Burch found a home with the Barnes-Fleetwood family when he desperately needed one. With support from his newfound family, Grim beat all the odds and became a veterinarian. In Willow Fork, however, there are still people who are suspicious of him and his past. When he sees Nicole, he knows she’s the perfect woman for him and Josh, but he wonders if he has the right to bring her into his sometimes dangerous circle.

For Nicole Mason, Willow Fork is nothing more than a pit stop. Once she can save up the money to fix her car, she’ll do what she’s been doing for the last several years. Run. Framed for her husband’s murder, she can never stop looking over her shoulder. There’s always someone on her trail, and she can’t let them bring her back to the real killer. Getting to know Josh and Grim makes her dream of the life they could have together. If only she could trust them with her secrets.

When their past catches up to them all, they’ll find out that even a small town can be big trouble.

  • Another winning series!

Great start to a new series! You simply cannot beat Lexi Blake for heat, romance, and characters that ring true and tug at the heart. I can’t wait for the next in the series.

  • A Big YES For These Siren Legacies

In Willow Fork, TX, the Barnes-Fleetwood name carries weight, and Joshua Barnes-Fleetwood wears that name proudly. He and adopted brother Jared Burch, known by one and all as 'Grim,' are confident about what they want out of life, and there aren't many folks that will stand in their way. Enter Nicole Mason, on the run and passing through. She's willing to see what the boys are all about, but she's not looking for long term. But when the Barnes-Fleetwoods put their mind to convincing her otherwise, well, I know who I'm betting on. Author Lexi Blake (writing as Sophie Oak) is continuing her writing journey into next generation storytelling, and I am SO here for it. Already in love with her Masters and Mercenaries: New Recruits series of kids carrying on the traditions that made their OG folks so very beloved, I was itching to clap eyes on the offspring from the Texas branch of the family.Y'all. First of all, if you haven't read the books in the original Texas Sirens series, run, do not walk, to one-click these books and binge read like there's no tomorrow. Once you're all caught up, make your way to THE ACCIDENTAL SIREN, the first book in Lexi's Texas Sirens: Legacy series. When I say that you will not be sorry, my book loving friends, you will NOT be sorry. The swagger, the sass, the suspense, it's all here, and I could have loved these characters and their story more. This book is a keeper, and absolutely ensures that I will be reading the next, and the next, and...well you get it. If you're a fan of Lexi, well, then you know what's what when making a trip to Willow Springs, and if you're a newbie, get ready, because you will be all in. Do the thing, get the book, and enjoy. Happy Reading! ❤️

  • Excellent

Goodness I don’t know what to say. You can never ever go wrong with a Lexi Blake book. A woman on the run. Two guys who are looking for the perfect woman to share. Two protective and nosy dads. And lots of love. Excellent story. M/F/M. Josh and Grim became best friends in grade school. But Grim’s mom married a crazy man and she took him out of school. Years later Grim is kicked out of his home and Josh finds him and the family takes him in. Now Josh runs the family business and Grim is the local vet. As soon as they see Nicole, they know she’s the one for them. Nicole is on the run because her brother in law killed her husband but had evidence she did it. She broke down in Willow Fork and is working as a waitress to get the money to pay for her car. But she figures while she’s there why not spend her time with two handsome cowboys. Josh knows Nicole is keeping secrets so he gets a private investigator to look into her. But that could bring the ex’s to her location and everyone around her is not who they are supposed to be. Can she forgive the guys for messing in her business and will she be able to prove her innocence?

  • 😍😍😍

It’s been a long time since I was back here, but just as good as before. Josh & Grim are besties, looking for their permanent someone. Nicole is temporarily in town, on the run from a bad situation and some bad dudes. But they just all complete each other. This keeps you ensnared, through all the goings on. Can’t wait for the next one! Maybe I’ll even try to do a re-read on the originals before then
