I’ve read A LOT of books and this one might be my favorite. It’s weird at times, but it’s rare at this point that I come across a book that doesn’t resemble anything else I’ve read. Give it a chance if you’re reading this.

Had a very difficult time getting thru this book. Weird and grotesque. Maggots and filth and disconjointed from the start. Erwin was entertaining about halfway thru. Seemed like author was on drugs and semi-comatose.

I laughed. I ached and trembled. I laughed some more. I gasped, and I cried. I will never forget this book. Easily one of my new favorites of all time. Perfectly crafted, the detail, the emotion. I felt it all, and as it reached its crescendo, I splintered. What a beautiful ache to be left with.
