Three unaccounted for after Boxing Day house fire

Three people are unaccounted for after a house fire in the early hours of Boxing Day, police have said.

Emergency teams were called to a property on Brimscombe Hill, near Stroud, at around 3am, a Gloucestershire Police spokesperson said. One person managed to escape the property and was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment.

"Three other people, who are believed to have been inside the property, have not yet been accounted for and efforts to locate them are ongoing," the spokesperson added. Gloucestershire Police said officers attended the scene alongside crews from Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service and the ambulance service.
