After warmest day of the year so far, Met Office warns of 'cold plunge'
Britain will return to colder weather with a chance of snow for some - only days after much of the UK saw a week of sunshine.
Warmer weather brought the hottest day of the year so far on Wednesday, with temperatures peaking at 20C (68F) in some parts of the country. But temperatures across the UK are forecast to plummet from Sunday down to single digits by next Wednesday.
