The book was published on the 14th  of July 2020 by Simon & Schunster and sold close to 1 million copies on its first day of release ㅡ a record for the publisher. Robert Trump filed a case to prevent its release based on a Non-disclosure Agreement (NDA) between Mary and the Trump family, but lost. The book became a bestseller on Amazon and other platforms.
