The Savage King

The Savage King

I'm a former marine with a thirst for vengeance, undercover in the Mexican cartel for Connor Barrett and the Dark Kings. Last week, one of my marine buddies threw an unsuspecting and sexy woman into my arms during a mafia shootout and tasked me with getting her safely home.

Easy right? Not so f*cking much.

Now I'm fighting to get us back across the border and Isabelle home to NYC. But that mouth on her. Jesus, it's hot. And won't shut up.

More importantly, it could get us both killed. And cost me the revenge I've worked years for.

The choice is mine, but I'm not sure my soul is pure enough to make the right decision. We'll soon find out.

  • Another okay read

Two things that kinda confused me while I was trying to read the third Dark Kings installment of the series. One on the book cover it’s featured a dark haired hunk with brown eyes but in the book, it described Decker has silver eyes not brown eyes. Second, it described Isabelle as a some kind of sharp tongue person but really, she’s like unappreciative and ungrateful person after being unintentionally rescued by Decker during Mia’s mafia wedding?!? Like Nathan, Conner and Mack, I liked Decker. What made him stand out among the Dark Kings, he really tried to keep Isabelle safe the best that he could. Even though there were a lot twists and turns as well as complicated intense circumstances while he and Isabelle were on the run, as usual their sexual tensions & chemistry finally came together almost toward the end of the story. I just hope Mack and Summer’s story will be less crazy.

This book was scary. Too many close calls. Nerve racking to say the least! Loved the characters.
