Brad Pitt's LA home broken into

Brad Pitt's home in Los Angeles was broken into on Wednesday, two law enforcement sources have told Sky News' US partner, NBC News.

The actor was not in when the alleged break-in occurred, the sources said. Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is investigating a reported burglary.

An LAPD spokesman confirmed a break-in at a residence in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles at 10.30pm on Wednesday. However, the spokesman did not identify who lived at the property or who owned it.

An unknown amount of property was allegedly stolen by the thieves, the value of which has not been disclosed. Pitt, 61, was in London on Monday for the European premiere of his new film, F1: The Movie.
