This 13 chapter 250+ page book provides a textual, photo and video history of the parachute, as well as U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard military parachute operations.  

In addition to an introductory Marine Corps video, three additional videos examine: 1) the history of the 82nd Airborne Division, 2) the three week Basic Airborne Course conducted at the U.S. Army Airborne School, and 3) the role of the military Parachute Rigger.  

Additional photo-rich chapters show a history of the parachute; the Basic Airborne Course; U.S. military parachute operations in the current era; Rigger operations; as well as special military airborne units, special parachutes and HALO parachute operation.
