Signs of severe illness suddenly appear on Hoda and that’s when Ahmed seeks his friend for money in order to pay for Hoda’s serious operation. The recipient of the video, Behnaz Jafari, as herself, asks Panahi, as himself, to drive her to the woman’s tiny home village near the Turkish border to investigate. From there, 3 Faces builds in narrative, thematic, and visual intricacy to put forth a grand expression of community and solidarity under the eye of oppression.

Dr. Hind returns from the US along her little daughter, she goes to her ex Ahmed in his apartment and sleeps with him then confessed to him that she has AIDS causing him to freak out and he decides to seek the help of a doctor, as well as report her. Newspapers warn citizens about Hind and she is arrested and placed in a hospital along Ahmed. The leader of a gang decides to use her in killing one of his agents by transferring the virus to him and so his men smuggle them out of the hospital. After the gang kills Ahmed and kidnaps her parents, Hind gives in, yet she eventually tells the police, turns herself in and exposes the gang.

Bouthyna escapes from her tribe and goes to see Mohsen after he recovers, but he sends her away as he believes that she is the one who placed the poison in his medicine, however, he learns the truth about his sickness, kills Ageib and returns Bouthyna once again to his home.

Fattouh meets Bayoumi in prison. After release, Fattouh is back to burglary. Police chase him and he seeks the help of Bayoumi who hides him at his place. At some point, Bayoumi's daughter Saneya has an affair with Fattouh who promises to marry her. After collecting a sum of money, he leaves the district where he's hiding in. Saneya looks for him. She finally finds him and asks him to keep his promise of getting married to her but he evades. He confronts her father in her presence and she stabs him. Police arrive and apprehend him.

He meets Rawya, the beautiful and rich woman, who lives in a nearby villa, and they get too close and she takes care of his daughter, and tells him about her miserable marital life with her husband Darwish. She is arrested together with her husband for the charge of drug possession. She is imprisoned and colonel Hazem treats her very harshly. A group of criminals take revenge on him, causing the loss of her leg, while Rawya is proven innocent.

A simple employee becomes sexually impotent which leads him to become a drug addict; meanwhile his wife suffers from this situation and abandons him, also her neighbor tries to seduce her but she fends him off. The wife fails to find a solution for her crisis, she meets Baher at an exhibition of fine arts and discovers that he is her dream man and so she is attracted to him, she abandons her husband and kids and goes to live with him in his palace only to discover later on that she joined the world of prostitution and that Baher is the gang’s leader. The wife is surprised to find the neighbor coming to her private room as a customer, she refuses to surrender herself to him, injures him and runs away, yet Baher manages to go after her and return her.

Abdul Karim is a former Intelligence man who exploits his experiences in blackmailing top men of money and authority. Abdul Karim meets Antar, a wedding photographer, convinces him that he is still in the service and assigns him the task of filming a video tape at night which condemns a senior official named Galal. Abdul Karim incites one of his associates to kill Antar’s friend and his work assistant only to have the crime blamed on Antar who gets arrested for it. Galal decides to get rid of Antar after failing to find the video tape, yet Antar escapes and seeks the help of Galal to know Abdul Karim’s place who is getting ready to leave the country, yet the police men manage to arrest him.
