An Historical Account of the Expedition Against Sandusky in 1782
In 1782 during the American Revolution, Pennsylvania and Virginia militiamen under the command of Colonel William Crawford , a very close friend of General George Washington, launched a retaliatory expedition against the British allied Indians, the Wyandot and Delaware.
