Fanny Hill: Or, Memoirs of a Woman of Pleasure (Annotated)

Fanny Hill: Or, Memoirs of a Woman of Pleasure (Annotated)

Memoirs of a Woman of Pleasure (mostly known as Fanny Hill) is an erotic book by English novelist John Cleland first published in London in 1748. Written while the author was in debtors' prison in London, it is considered "the first original English prose pornography, and the first pornography to use the form of the novel".  One of the most prosecuted and outlawed books in history, it has become a synonym for obscenity.
This edition has been formatted for your reader, with an active table of contents.  It has also been annotated, with extensive additional information about Fanny Hill and also John Cleland, including an overview, publishing history, plot, references in popular culture, biographical and bibliographical information.
