Jane Eyre

Jane Eyre

Jane Eyre is an orphan who is being raised by her wealthy though cruel aunt. She is then sent away to Lowood School whose selfish headmaster steals from its funds to create a wealthy lifestyle. Years later she becomes a teacher at the same school but yearns for new experiences. Charlotte Brontë’s classic novel follows Jane’s life from childhood to adulthood exploring themes such as morality, social classes, sexuality, religion and feminism.
