God’s Present Purpose

God’s Present Purpose

Two attitudes to the Bible may be summed up in two sentences in two letters the author received from two different people.

[if !supportLists]·         [endif]“I just cannot think I am the only one facing these questions, and finding little comfort in the Bible.”

[if !supportLists]·         [endif]“You have helped me to find intense interest, enjoyment and comfort in the Book.”

This book is aimed at the first correspondent and the author seeks to change the attitude of the first correspondent to that of the second by focusing on The Lord of the Scriptures and how believers today relate to him. He does so by showing how the Bible, starting in Genesis, unfolds to the present phase of God’s great purpose of redemption as revealed to Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles, in two of his great epistles: Romans and Ephesians.
