A Theologico-Political Treatise

The Tractatus Theologico-Politicus or Theologico-Political Treatise was one of the most controversial texts of the early modern period. It was a preemptive defense of Spinoza's later work, Ethics, published posthumously, for which he anticipated harsh criticism.
