This book is apart of a Senior Honors Thesis for Hollins University and explores the lived history and present-day reality of Black women within the United States through the lens of the Black female poet. It is historical, autobiographical, visual, and visceral in its telling. It is all things literary critique, historical reckoning, and personal confession through both creative text and visual and audio methods.
