The Damned

The Damned

Instant New York Times bestselling sequel to The Beautiful

Following the events of The Beautiful, Sébastien Saint Germain is now cursed and forever changed. The treaty between the Fallen and the Brotherhood has been broken, and war between the immortals seems imminent. The price of loving Celine was costly.

But Celine has also paid a high price for loving Bastien. Still recovering from injuries sustained during a night she can't quite remember, her dreams are troubled. And she doesn't know she has inadvertently set into motion a chain of events that could lead to her demise and unveil a truth about herself she's not ready to learn.

Forces hiding in the shadows have been patiently waiting for this moment. And just as Bastien and Celine begin to uncover the danger around them, they learn their love could tear them apart.

The Damned, Renée's latest installment in The Beautiful series is just as decadent, thrilling, and mysterious as her last, as she continues her most potent fantasy series yet.

Reviews
  • Damned but Special 🌸

This book is as lovely as the first in the series. I recommend that you read this book. You think you’re ahead of the game while reading this book but beware.. the road gets rocky and you won’t know what happens next. Don’t even try to piece things together. It’s like a slap in the face. Love the new characters and vivid detailing. Great read. Excited to read more.

  • It gets better the more you read

Beautifully written with exciting twists and turns. The authors use of language(s) beckons to a time long past and ages old stories of love, loss, and the choices one must make to mark their place in the world or be lost to the monsters both around and within.

  • Anonymous?

I just want to imply that I do not agree with the statement made by “callistaballista”. This is one of the best book I have ever read. I truly enjoy this book, it might even be one of my favorites.

  • Horrible

Boring and drawn out. She should’ve stuck to the New Orleans backdrop...the fantasy world did not work for me. And the love story was fake and immature

  • This was good

I enjoyed this. Great characters and settings, though the action really didn’t pick up until almost the end of the book. I love anything New Orleans and vampires! Will definitely be reading the next book.
