This is the complete last chapter of Edward’s classic work, Charity and Its Fruits, an exposition of 1 Corinthians chapter 13. Here Jonathan Edwards (1703-1758) explains the beauty of "charity," or Christian love, as it will be expressed in the world to come. Heaven will be a world of love! God's love will fill us with love for Him and for His people, who will then be lovely in holiness and glory. The mutual love between God and His people, and each one of His people with each other, will be perfect and full. The glory of heaven will not be a little glittering gold but rather a community of saints given to loving God and each other in holy perfection!
