Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ, is a book that tells the story of Judah Ben-Hur, a Jewish nobleman. At the beginning of the first century, Judah was falsely accused and convicted of an attempted assassination of a Roman governor and consequently enslaved by the Romans. He later becomes a chariot driver and a Christian. The story's revenge plot becomes a story of compassion and forgiveness.
