The Ogre's Wife: Fairy Tales for Grownups
A World Fantasy Award finalist in its print edition, THE OGRE'S WIFE is the first story collection by Richard Parks. The introduction was written by award-winning master fantasist Parke Godwin, who has followed the author's career from first bloom until today. All but one of the stories have been previously published in either magazines (mostly Realms of Fantasy) or anthologies. That one, Doing Time in the Wild Hunt, is original to the collection. Also included in this electronic edition is an appendix containing the author's notes on each story.
