Rock of Ages

Rock of Ages is a popular Christian hymn written in 1763. Rock of Ages is usually sung to the hymn tune Toplady by Thomas Hastings or Redhead 76 by Richard Redhead or New City Fellowship by James Ward. Toplady is most typical in the United States and Redhead 76 in the United Kingdom, although both tunes circulate in the churches of both countries. like as Rock of Ages, cleft for me, Let me hide myself in Thee; Let the water and the blood, From Thy wounded side which flowed, Be of sin the double cure, Safe me from wrath and make me pure.
