Jed, recently promoted to head of county homicide, must go to the sleepy little town of Harbor Point to catch a murder suspect who is on the loose. A black man has been accused of murder, but something is not adding up in “Death by the Numbers”.
In “Mask of Terror”, Billie Swan had a job to do. What did he care if it was to be a bodyguard to a midget. He had worse jobs, so he thought until he was neck-deep in a robbery and murder!
Finally in “The Death of El Indio”, Sam Eggers is hired to investigate a strange murder in Mexico. The murdered man’s widow hired Sam from the states because she does not trust the local authorities. She believes her husband death was caused by Mexico’s national bull-fighting hero, El Indio. Who always cut the heart from the bulls he'd killed. And he ate that heart … it gave him strength he said. And the crowds roared their approval.
