Sheriff George Tyler time travels from 1888 Wyoming Territory to modern-day Napa Valley and meets Melody Song, a woman badly in need of a temporary husband. He agrees to help and quickly realizes that Melody needs more than just his name. She also needs his protection.
Melody’s grandmother, who owns one of the most successful wineries in the Napa Valley, is dying. But that’s not the only thing that’s wrong. Great Aunt Genevieve has mysteriously disappeared, Aunt Tilly and Uncle Louis are entertaining menacing-looking midnight visitors, and Melody is forced off the road by an unknown driver.
