Brainz, Inc

Brainz, Inc

A deceased woman commissions Jake to investigate her murder. Jake Pace is in the middle of preparing a batch of cookies when his lawyer arrives with a peculiar delivery - a corpse. However, this isn't just any corpse; it's an android crafted in the likeness of the recently departed electronics heiress, Sylvie Kirkyard. This android is also implanted with a chip that contains Sylvie's memories. Sylvie, despite being only twenty-seven, had long been apprehensive about her safety. As a precaution, she had insured her consciousness using Kirktronics' patented Brainz, Inc. technology. Following her demise, her memories were transferred to this electronic body, which was then brought to Jake. Thankfully, Jake is no stranger to dealing with corpses, whether they are robotic or human. So, when the deceased girl suddenly awakens and implores him to uncover her killers, Jake takes it in stride. However, carrying out her final wish will be fraught with danger, and by the time it's all said and done, Jake might find himself wishing he had a spare body of his own.
