The God Who Is
"The God Who Is" explores the doctrine of God as viewed through His triune work for us. There is only one God, but the Bible is equally clear that this one God exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. In the fullness of time, God the Father sent God the Son to sacrifice Himself in our place for our sins. Through His obedience, death, and resurrection, Jesus now stands as the perfect Prophet, Priest, and King over all creation. And now God the Spirit has come to indwell believers. He acts in the world to reveal the reality of sin and the hope of our Savior; and He empowers believers with gifts and fruit so that the body of Christ, the church, might be built up and sent on mission into the world to proclaim the wondrous glories of “The God Who Is” that even more might believe and worship Him.
