Job Hunt Jackpot! (Uncollected Anthology: Ethereal Entertainment Book 35)

Job Hunt Jackpot! (Uncollected Anthology: Ethereal Entertainment Book 35)

If You're Not Early, You're Late.

Job hunting requires persistence. And punctuality.

Bob McElroy trades his Combat Engineering toolkit for needle and thread.

A promise of an interview at Ethereal Entertainment sounds too good to be true.

Arriving with an hour to spare, Bob expects no trouble finding his way.

Will he thread the maze in time to win the jackpot?

An excerpt from Job Hunt Jackpot!:

Neither guard had spoken to Bob in the twenty minutes he'd been waiting. Right Goon just typed something into an oversized keyboard with all the keys in the wrong places.

Finally something in front of Left Goon beeped and flashed green. RG took the card that emerged from a slot in the light-soaking (metal? Plastic?) desk and handed it to Bob without a word.

LG raised an arm thicker than Bob's leg and pointed toward a bank of elevators to the right of the desk.
