On voit que les jacobins étaient d'accord avec Robespierre. Le 30 septembre, Delaunay d'Angers fit un rapport sur la question au nom des Comités réunis du commerce, de Salut public, des finances et de la Commission dite des Cinq. Il conclut contre le séquestre. Mais le 9 octobre, Robespierre et Billaud-Varenne obtinrent de la Convention la remise en vigueur du décret du 7 septembre. Il 3 dicembre 2019 lo storico americano Timothy Snyder si presenta in un ospedale di Monaco, in Germania, con forti dolori addominali. Viene ricoverato, ma il mattino successivo lo dimettono.
