Three friends from art school try to start their careers in the bizarre NYC art world, while trying to figure themselves out. Dan, sick of his middle class background, sets out to make himself darker by convincing his mother to pose nude for a series of paintings. Kelsey blackmails an art dealer into helping her start her career and ends up falling in love with a handsome buyer. But is he interest in her, or her art? Quinn is an old-school bohemian spirit who struggles in this new world of responsibility and ethics. All under the shadow of their friend, Austin Gamby, who made it big right out of art school. They quickly learn that the life of an artist today isn’t the romantic idea that they thought it was, but they have to deal with it if they ever want to make any money.
