Curly Sue

Chicago. Another town, another innocent scam for vagabond Bill Dancer (Jim Belushi of K-9 and Red Heat) and the curly-topped orphan he's cared for since infancy. But this time, Bill hits the jackpot: his newest con whisks them both from the poorhouse to the penthouse with lots of laughs along the way. Nine-year-old Alisan Porter (Parenthood, Stella) teams with Belushi, taking the title role in John Hughes' comedy that charmed moviegoers from coast to coast. Kelly Lynch (Road House, Drugstore Cowboy) joins the heartwarming fun as an attorney who falls for their scheme and takes them home. It's a situation that seems too good to be true. And it turns topsy-turvy when Lynch's jealous boyfriend intervenes. Reviewer Pat Collins of WWOR-TV pronounced Curly Sue "the feel-good comedy of the season." But with Hughes' wisecracking wit and tender touch, it's really a prize entertainment for any season.

Comedy superstar Chris Rock (Lethal Weapon 4, New Jack City, Saturday Night Live) stars in CB4, an off-the-hook, hilarious look at the world of Gangsta Rap. Rock plays Albert, a.k.a. MC Gusto, leader of the hot new rap group CB4 (short for "Cell Block 4"). The trio of CB4 - MC Gusto, Stab Master Arson (Deezer D) and Dead Mik (Allen Payne), are living large as their hardcore albums blow up the charts. Their rise to fame takes an unfortunate turn when they're caught up as subjects of a documentary by corny filmmaker A. White (Chris Elliott) and victims of a political campaign by Republican Virgil Robinson (Phil Hartman). And when the reality hits the streets that these cats are just three middle-class kids posing as ex-con thugs, their world of money, power and respect takes a beat down in the most embarrassing and ludicrous ways. This outrageous rapumentary is packed with cameos by real O.G. rap legends like Ice-T, Flavor Flav, and Easy E, and studded with special guest appearances by Tommy Davidson, Halle Berry and Shaquille O'Neal. CB4 is a hysterical stroll through the streets of hard-core hip-hop.

1 Night in San Diego

Jenna Ushkowitz (Glee) and Laura Ashley Samuels (Modern Family) star as BFFs Hannah and Brooklyn in this raunchy comedy. Hannah, a former reality TV starlet, and Brooklyn, her conscious cuddling best friend, hit the road to San Diego to reconnect with an old high school crush, Christian. When he turns out to be super lame, the pair take back the night and go HAM in San Diego. Hannah gets recognized in the club by two fans, Kelsey and Delia, played by Alexandra Daddario and Kelsey Douglas, and the quad hits the town. Things don't go as planned for Hannah and Brooklyn and their trip turns into a night of chaos, debauchery, and ultimately tests the deepest bonds of their friendship.
