The Fifth Floor

College disco dancer Kelly McIntyre inadvertently overdoses on drugs and collapses on the dance floor, unconscious. Misdiagnosed as having exhibited suicidal tendencies, Kelly's wrongly committed to the psychiatric ward on the fifth floor of Cedar Springs Hospital. Her boyfriend heightens the blow after refusing to help release her from the hospital, leaving Kelly alone and without means to prove herself mentally stable. Kelly finds herself unable to achieve reprieve in order to escape a precarious predicament that takes a nightmarish nosedive when she becomes the resistant recipient of an abusive orderly's cruel predilections.

As the friends and family of Rad Chad come together for his sparsely attended funeral, there is sadness in the air as they watch a pre-recorded tape of Chad's predictably odd goodbye.
