A campy, action-packed thriller from cult director Larry Cohen (It's Alive), The Ambulance features a cameo by Marvel Comics prez Stan Lee and lots of tongue-in-cheek humor. It's as quirky and entertaining as Cohen's other genre films, with clever photography by Jacques Haitkin and a tense score by Jay Chattaway.
