Over the course of three days, 300 competitors will put themselves through 500 kilometers of steep hill climbs, endless rock sections, rushing rivers and elevation changes that leave one gasping for air. This year, New Zealand’s Chris Birch arrives at the Roof ready to go. He will be challenged by local favorites and Roof of Africa winners, Darryl Curtis and Louwrens Mahoney. For our tenth film we wanted to do something special. So all we did was capture our deepest powder ever, expeditions to the most remote mountain ranges, and the steepest spines on the planet.
