Duplicate is essentially a subject about two men, one good and one bad, but co-incidentally have the same face. Bablu(Shah Rukh Khan) is basically a day dreamer and aspires to be Chef of International repute. He is forever day dreaming of cooking at 5-Star establishments. Manu Dada (Shah Rukh Khan) on the other hand is a ruthless criminal on the run. Bablu is in love with Sonia (Juhi Chawla) who is the Food & Beverage Manager of an up market hotel. She is always a part of his dreams. He wishes to take her abroad and settle down. Manu romances with a night club cabaret dancer Lily (Sonali Bendre). They together migrated from overseas and entered the world of crime in India. Bablu and Manu's tracks keep alternating till they converge at the interval point of the film. After which Manu holds the innocent Bablu at ransom and continues his violent escapades using Babloo's name. Bablu eventually retaliates and seeks revenge. This is what Duplicate is all about. The film ends on a happy note with the realization of Bablu's dreams. He is finally becomes a Chef of International fame.

Vaada Raha... I Promise

After receiving a generous grant from the American Medical Association to find a cure for cancer, Dr. Duke Chawla (Bobby Deol), who always gives hope to his patients, proposes to his sweetheart, Pooja (Kangana Ranaut), and both arrange to get married soon. Tekavade is a perfect, quaint, little village in Maharashtra, known for its rich culture and heritage. It’s rich and fertile soil has the capacity to grow crops and keep its farmers happy and prosperous. The village is famous for female infanticide and for turning women out who bear a girl child. One day Rupali, a young, educated and beautiful girl comes visiting her uncle to the village and everything changes overnight. Rupali decides to use this opportunity and transform this regressive village and the people who inhabit it.
