The Lion's Game

The Lion's Game

Detective John Corey, last seen in Plum Island, now faces his toughest assignment yet: the pursuit and capture of the world's most dangerous terrorist -- a young Arab known as "The Lion" who has baffled a federal task force and shows no sign of stopping in his quest for revenge against the American pilots who bombed Libya and killed his family. Filled with unrelenting suspense and surprising plot twists at every terrifying turn, The Lion's Game is a heartstopping race against time and one of Nelson DeMille's most riveting thrillers.

  • What a disappointment

After Plum Island I had great expectations for the Lion. What a disappointment. Cardboard characters, a cliched Arab terrorist whose inner dialogue sounded like it was drafted by a 16 year old. Boring riffs on what the Lion was thinking and doing. A smarmy relationship between the hero and his female sidekick . And worse, the story finished right when I thought it might get interesting. Guess what? The hero marries his FBI sidekick and lives happily ever after and the bad guy gets away. Total Rubbish.

  • The lions Game. Nelson DeMille

The Lions game is about revenge. Pure and simple.A bombing attack in Libya which resulted in the death of a mother and daughters and sons. Payback is coming. An excellent read!!! My highest recommendation!!
