Great book! Some reviews confuse me as they complain that the book is nothing like the show…but the book came first (in 1991…like 18 years before the show) soooo shouldn’t they complain that the show is different? As shows usually are? Anyway, for anybody who’s watched the show first: While yes the plot lines, town name, school name, back stories, many character names and physical traits, and even certain character’s emotional traits are VERY different than the show (that came after the books)… I’d still recommend the read, it actually gives a lot of insight into what certain characters are going through and how their minds work. It even goes more in depth about how intimate feeding from each other is while the show just glazes over the concept and never fully expresses why. Anywho, I can go on and on lol. I’m a big fan of the books AND the show even with the very obvious differences so just imagine the TV version of characters as you’re reading if that helps 🤷🏻♀️. K thanks for coming to my TedXTalk

I don’t usually have a complaint about books but this reads like a 15 year old wrote it or like baby’s first chapter book. It jumps around a lot and leaves so much to be desired in the details.
