New York Times bestselling series

The Return: Midnight is the seventh book in L.J. Smith’s New York Times bestselling Vampire Diaries series.

Elena Gilbert is back from the Dark Dimension, having successfully freed her vampire boyfriend Stefan Salvatore from imprisonment. Saving Stefan had an unlikely consequence: his vampire brother Damon Salvatore has become mortal. While the trio reels from this latest twist, they must still deal with the demons that have taken over Elena’s hometown, Fell’s Church. But the battle will take Elena, Stefan, and Damon to their darkest moments yet…

The Return: Midnight is perfect for fans of the hit CW TV show The Vampire Diaries, as well as fans of the original New York Times bestselling series who can’t wait to see what happens next with Elena, Stefan, and Damon.

  • Great book…. SPOILER ALERT

First off, I’m a total Delena girl, but also like poly triad is acceptable. The Return Trilogy has been my favorite so far. I’ve loved the Dark Dimension and the Kitsune plot. Great stuff. Creative and very emotional. Lastly, the ending is a simply heartbreaking sacrifice from a tritagonist. He was the most selfish of the main characters and he had great character development and they were building up his potential love story with the antagonist. It was *chefs kiss* The main characters present at Damon’s death are all telepathic and were trying to share his pain/hold on to him and ended up just feeling him die. It took like a whole chapter of him fading and the other characters hearts just breaking into pieces because they were wrong about him and he saved them and they all love him in some way. Very tragic, very poetic, very cathartic. 10/10 would recommend

  • Amazing

I really loved it bonnie and damon have a connection I've only read this book and shadow souls but I was "delena"[damon & elena], but bonnie is so much better for damon she's his real light with a dark streak :)

  • The Worst

Are you serious? People are saying this was an amazing book? Pleaseee! It was by far the worst in this series, and of course I won't read the next ones! Everyone was out ofcharacter and the lack of plotline is tedious! Easily the worst book I've read... Ever! I seriously don't recommend this to a serious fan of the vampire diaries.

  • DELENA FOREVER <333 :D

Oh wow, there is no way to describe this series. I cried for a good hour after I finished the book. The end where Elena goes to her window, made me hysterical. I'm almost afraid to read the next books because they want stelena and bamon, and that would kill me!!! DELENA, choose delena!!!!! That's the way l.j. Wanted it to end and that's hoe it should!

    By definitely not Peter
